What does it mean to work at the edge of your technique (whether beginner, advanced or “starting over”), going beyond the comfort zone? How do you define "good technique"? What technique do you need to build in order to communicate through movement? In this workshop we will mine our personal history and individual movement lexicons for intimate observations of the world, and compose from invented and technically unlikely movement. Experience in contemporary dance not required, but this workshop is recommended for those with some movement background. No acute injuries.
